About Me
Hi there, I'm Alondra (She/He/They), and I am a comic artist from Northeast Indiana. I am represented by the lovely Alexandra Weiss at Azantian Literary Agency.
I've always loved telling stories since I was a kid, and I owe so much to the many stories I've consumed throughout my adolescences. Without them, I would have not survived the darkest times of my youth, so I naturally want to tell stories that tackle complex and difficult themes in hopes of helping other young readers survive their own life challenges. I love creating stories that explore themes of coming of age, friendships, cultural and diaspora identities, and the paranormal. More than often, my comics feature queer Latine characters; having had limited Latino representation growing up, I have been especially excited to demonstrate Chicane culture in my works. When I'm not working on my comics, I am either hiking in one of my city's many forest trails, writing fanfiction, or in the kitchen trying out a new recipe.
